UPA president Sonia Gandhi has said that the government is "ready for a fight on the Lokpal Bill."
"I will fight for Lokpal and women's reservation," Sonia Gandhi said.
She said the opposition and Anna Hazare and his team of activist should accept the bill.
Sonia Gandhi described the bill as a "path-breaking legislation."
The Cabinet finally cleared the Lokpal and Lokayukta bill on Tuesday evening, but their key formulations were promptly slammed by both Team Anna and the opposition, setting the stage for a continuing confrontation within and outside Parliament.
