India Post Office Recruitment Notification Feb 2014 – Apply Online Postal Assistants/ Sorting Assistants & other Posts :Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Department of Posts has Released a Recruitment notification 2014 for the Postal Assistants/ Sorting Assistants/ Postal Assistants (Savings Bank Control Organization)/ Postal Assistants (Mail Motor Services) and Postal Assistants (Circle and Regional Officers) in 22 Postal Circles in the Country. Eligible candidates can apply online before 27 March 2014.

Name of the Posts: Postal Assistants/ Sorting Assistants/ Postal Assistants (Savings Bank Control Organization)/ Postal Assistants (Mail Motor Services) and Postal Assistants (Circle and Regional Officers)

1)Andhra Pradesh No of posts: 541
Pay Scale: The Applicants who shortlist for these post they will get Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade pay of Rs. 2400 + admissible allowances as prescribed from time to time.
Age Limit: The Candidates age limit should be between 18-27 years as on 27-03-2014 Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Exam pattern Syllabus: Paper-I-Aptitude Test will be comprising four parts (Part A, B, C & D)
Part A:25 Questions on General Knowledge
part-B:25 Questions on Mathematics of matriculation standard which may cover number system, simplification, decimals, corrections, simple and compound interest, percentage, average, profit and loss, discount,menstruation, Time & work and time & distance etc.
part-C:25 questions on English covering grammar (prepositions, adverbs,conjunction, direct/indirect speech, singular & plural, tenses,antonyms/synonyms etc.
part-D:25 Questions on Reasoning and analytical Ability.
Paper II:Computer/ Typing Test
Typing test will be for a duration of 30 minutes ( 15 minutes for typing and 15 minutes for data entry) consisting one passage of 450 words in English OR 375 words in Hindi to be typed with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute or 25 words per minute respectively.
Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written examination and computer/ typing test.
Cost of Application Form Registration:Rs. 100 for all categories of applicants who have registered.
Application/Examination Fee:
General and OBC categories is Rs. 400/-.
Fees Exempted : Scheduled Castes /Scheduled Tribes / Physically Impaired/ Women

Eligible candidates can apply online through the website www.pasadrexam2014.in The Applicants after successful registration of the On-Line Application take printout of the submitted online application form and keep it for future reference.
